The Essential Range is a Category 5e solution intended
for the commodity, distribution market and is intended to compete with
branded component. It is aimed at customers buying off the shelf components
via distribution for small installations where the requirement is for
voice and basic data applications such as Ethernet, Fast Ethernet,
ATM…... and can be easily installed using standard tools.
The Essential range is not intended to compete with
any of our Class D systems and should not be confused with our new
enhanced Cat 5e system product set LANmark-5.
The range is compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 2002 and is supported by
a 20 year Link Certificate.
However, the Essential products are capable of providing Cat5e/Class
D link performance, and a test certificate to this effect is included
as part of the package.
