3 fibre cable has been designed for applications where a high level of
installation, environmental and optical features are required.
Nexans GIGAlite 3 incorporates multimode fibre classes optimised for
Laser based applications. It offers substantial headroom over Gigabit
Ethernet recommended distances.
Nexans GIGAlite 3 is guaranteed to support Gigabit Ethernet and 10 Gigabit
Ethernet in the following conditions:
- 1000 base SX MM50 up to 2000m
Exceeding considerably the IEEE802.3z recommended distances.
- 10000 base SX MM50 up to 300m
